The Objective

Debite is a is a UK-based FinTech company that provides a control center for startups to manage expenses, invoices, payments and loans, with a line of credit and built-in installments. 

After securing Seed funding they engaged with Gigstart to build their commercial and finance teams from scratch.

The Challenge

Senior management at the company including the CEO, Head of Revenue, CFO and Head of Marketing, Experienced a number of challanges in achieving this result:

  • Not being an established brand as a startup and losing talent to larger, later-stage companies.
  • Not having an internal acquisition team and the time it would take to build one from the ground up 
  • Senior management not having the capacity to focus on recruiting, leading to a long time to hire and poor candidate experience
  • Despite a high number of job applicants, they were not receiving the quality of candidates required through job boards

The Solution

Debite required a partner with deep market knowledge that could help them identify and headhunt the highest quality of candidates from established organisations.
