The Objective

ICS.AI are market leaders in embedding AI within the public sector to increase efficiency, accessibility and personalisation. 

After growing 300% YoY, winning contracts with the NHS, the education sector such as Durham University, and councils like Southampton City Council, they engaged with Gigstart to build out their commercial team.

The Challenge

Senior management at the company, including the CEO, Head of Customer Success and Head of Talent Acquisition experienced a number of challenges in achieving this result:

  • The difficulty in finding talent with public sector sales and customer success experience, especially with a background in AI
  • The internal talent acquisition team not having the capacity to dedicate time adequately to all positions
  • Despite a high number of job applicants, they were not recieving the quality of candidates required through job boards
  • Being based in Basingstoke, they found it challenging hiring local talent

The Solution
